Overlooking the sparkling turquoise ocean, Matibi Villa offers some glorious respite from the hustle of your everyday life. Brimming with a plethora of amenities, this comfortable villa offers generous sleeping and living quarters along with an ocean-facing deck. Located on the Northern coast of the island, this villa is close to several amenities in Mauritius, offering you plenty of entertainment during your stay.
Designed to very comfortably sleep two people, Matibi Villa comes with a comfortable master bedroom with a king bed as well as a sofa bed for a child (maximum 10 years old). Because it is entirely setup for your comfort, the master bedroom also features an alarm system, safe, flat-screen TV with satellite, air-conditioning unit and luxurious bedding which will be a delight to sink into after a long day of exploring your surroundings.
One master bathroom is also included, with fluffy towels, shower, toilet and sink.
During your stay at the villa, you’ll be able to make the most out of the 1200m2 fenced garden that will enable you to sunbathe in the privacy of your very own villa. Overlooking the ocean, the garden offers plenty of lush greenery enhanced by tropical plants shrubs. In fact, you’ll even be treated to BBQ facilities, sunbeds, garden umbrellas and outdoor furniture for fun nights out with friends. Because it directly overlooks the splendid Indian Ocean, guests can take a refreshing dip in the water anytime they want.
Matibi villa offers a rustic, shabby-chic interior with distinctively tropical accents such as pine furnishing, wooden floors and vivid green cushions. The villa comprises of a fully-stocked kitchen with kettle, utensils, gas stoves, electric oven, microwave, fridge and the likes. The living and dining room overlook the patio and all the living areas are equipped with an air-conditioning system to keep you cool during those hot summer days. In addition, it is recommended to turn off the air conditioner and fan when guests leave the room. The fan also can not work for more than 8 hours at a time, therefore it should be turned off for a moment before re-igniting.
To ensure that you won’t need to lift a finger during your vacation, Matibi Villa even offers complimentary housekeeping services, including ironing. Your housekeeper will come over every day, except on Sundays and public holidays, hence ensuring that your villa always remains in pristine condition. Upon request, the housekeeper can also make you a traditional Mauritian meal.
Rest assured that there’s always plenty to do in the nearby surroundings. Matibi Villa is found on the North of Mauritius, which is known for its vibrant nightlife and tourist attractions. The famous Vergers of Labourdonnais garden, for example, is just a short drive away from the villa and you will be able to discover an extensive variety of tropical fragrant flowers, fruit trees and plants. A tour of the garden normally ends with a tasting of locally produced jams and freshly squeezed juice made from fruits picked right in the orchard.
If you’re looking for livelier activities, head over to the tourist hub of Grand Bay which is 20 minutes from your villa. There, you’ll find a variety of nightclubs, shopping malls and souvenir shops which specialize in handcrafted wooden ship replicas and jewelry fashioned from shells and corals. In Grand Bay, you can also book various types of sea activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving and even submarines.
