Located on the island of Maritius, Jonchée 1810 is a villa with an approximate size of 433m2 . Situated in Vieux Grand Port, one of the villages on the island with a rich historical background. This luxurious, 3-bedroom, seafront villa has the adequate space to comfortably accommodate up to 8 people with 2 of them on sofa beds. This makes it perfect for a large family or even a group of friends who are looking to go on a memorable vacation. Located close to the ocean, you get to enjoy idyllic, panoramic views of Lion Mountain and the sea. Back in the 1810, the Battle of Grand Port took place in the Isle de France, which is Mauritius today. It was during the Napoleonic Wars when the battle took place to gain possession of the harbour of Grand Port.
This holiday home comes with 3 luxuriously furnished bedrooms with a total of 3 king-sized beds and 2 sofa beds. Every room is fitted with an air conditioning unit so that you will get the best quality of sleep you can during your stay at the villa. In addition, each room has a two-panel glass door which opens up to the outdoors allowing you to enjoy the cool sea breeze easily. The garden with its perfectly manicured grass and vast greens is pleasant to the eye, with several plush sofas for relaxation.
The indoor areas are designed to give guests a vibrant and relaxing atmosphere. As you enter, you will find the villa painted entirely in white with lots of the furniture made out of wood. The bedframes in each bedroom, the doorframe, the tables and even the floor are made from wood to give off a natural vibe to the place. The white colour also cools the villa down to make for a comfortable stay for guests. The living room is equipped with a wooden coffee table, a comfortable sofa and a flat-screen satellite HD TV with French and English channels for those late-night movie sessions. The kitchen is fully-equipped with kitchenware, microwave, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine and kettle while the dining area has a large wooden dining table where meals can be served.

To know more about the island, you can head over to the Frederick Hendrick Museum which is just within walking distance. If you enjoy being surrounded by nature, you can go hiking or biking up Lion Mountain or you can head over to the beautiful Bois des Amourettes Public Beach.
